Trey Hillman, stat-head...who knew?
This article is pretty revealing (and fairly negative) for something published at the team website. It's also (in my humble opinion) all the evidence we need for bringing in a new hitting instructor for next year.

I think I documented
When I advocated for us to hire him that he was a stat guy. It turns out he doesn’t always look at the right stats however. He seems to favor pitcher vs. hitter matchup stats, which don’t stand up to sample size scrutiny. But he is a big stat guy.
