Projected Elias rankings
This projection (which is not official, but very well done and probably very close to accurate) has Grudz as a type B FA and Olivo not making the cut.

Won't matter on Olivo
Hopefully we can get a comp pick for Grud…it’ll make losing our 2nd round pick easier if we sign a type A free agent.

It would have mattered with Olivo if both sides had declined their part of the mutual option
And we can’t afford to risking offering arbitration to Grudz, unless he promises DM he won’t accept. If he doesn’t promise that, can we be sure he’d turn down the more than $5M he’d get in arbitration?
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

The more I think about it, because of his injury history, I would imagine that the best contract offer he'd get on the FA market...
…would be $2M guaranteed plus incentives (based on games played) that would get him up to $3-3.5M total. Does anyone think he’d take that over $5.5M guaranteed?
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I noticed Mike Cameron is a free agent on that list.
He’s OPS’ing in the high 800’s and plays a good center field. He might be worth signing this offseason.
I like the stats, but I'm concerned that he'll be 36 next year
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I like Cameron
Has he avoided injuries this year?
I’d be curious about his home/road splits. Isn’t MIlwakee a big of a hitters park?

Anyone notice who the first guy was who missed the Type B 2B/SS/3B chart?
