Billy Butler is now a serious threat to hit double-digit home runs this season and to possibly slug over .400. I'm inspired, and perhaps Billy was to, by Mark Teahen's miracle run at 15 homers...
This afternoon The Epic (4.13 ERA) versus Armando Galarraga (3.20 ERA). In his last seven starts, Meche has posted a 2.96 ERA.
In other news, the Twins are so fundamentally sound and they play the game "the right way". Always.

But it's only the 8th inning of a time game with bases loaded . . .
So of course it can’t be Soria, silly! He’s a closer, and closers just come in for the ninth inning. Ever.
So we’ll put ramirez in there, because even though he can’tstrike out guys as well, he’ll only let two or three runs in, which is enough to lose with dignity. And Hillman’s all about dignity. He’s classy like that.

I’d prefer Soria here, but Ram Ram is fine. I just really don’t get why in the hell RamRam wasn’t in there earlier if we were going to him.
I hope next year the bullpen/rotation looks alot younger.

Although I gotta say, Callaspo's 8-pitch at bat was refreshing.
If he can play like this game all the time, we may have solidified our middle infield, between him and Aviles.

Although I really can’t blame Hillman for pinch-hitting for Gator.
