Grudzielanek revealed on Wednesday that he has a torn deltoid ligament on the left side of his right ankle.
"I'd be pressed to get back this year," he said,

I wonder what this means for Callaspo
You would think that Grudz’ exit would open up opportunities for Callaspo during the last couple of months of the year. Certainly it does for German and, to a lesser degree, Jason Smith. Has anyone heard anything lately about Callaspo’s status? I wonder if he’ll be back from rehab this year at all.

Yeah, he's back with the team working on his conditioning
Once he is back into playing shape, they are sending him on a rehab assignment. I would think that he’d be ready to get called back up to the majors by the end of the month. So, for technicals reasons, it might be easiest to call him up with the regular September call ups when the roster expands.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
