I didn't want to embed this YouTube video due to its content, so I'm just linking to it instead. Someone sent me this, and it's extremely crude and vulgar. George tells some rookies at spring training a story about food poisoning. Personally, I think he was just messing with them, but some folks seem to think he was serious...

Although

It puts his hemorrhoids in a different context, eh?

Wow

“I shit my pants last night. I’m good for doing that a couple times a year. When’s the last time you shit your pants?” Wow. George Brett, my hero. Sounds like the kind of conversation I remember from a junior high locker room. Some have said that men who grow up and play a boy’s game through many of their adult years never really grow up. I think there’s some truth in that.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Its hilarious

How uncomfortable Walter (Scott Walter?) is in hearing the story, to the point where he is walking away.

Who is the other guy Brett is talking to? #78

It kind of looked like Teahen but I couldn’t tell with the low resolution and with him wearing sunglasses. Did Teahen ever wear #78?

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Looks like the name

Is Adam Donachie. I assume they brought him (and Scott Walter) to MLB camp just to add some catchers.

Now we know the benefit of having George Brett at spring training

He imparts his special wisdom to minor league catchers.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Now we know

Why Royals players grumbled so much at having to pick up the chairs in spring training. George had crapped in all of them.

It's good to see...

…that you can’t let old comments go, NYRoyal? – TL

I was the one...

…advocating that we sign some real ML catchers with experience to be around the organization—-such that they could impart some of their knowledge during ST and other off and during-season situations. This sounded like a dig at my past assertion. – TL

No it was actually a dig at George Brett

But I’m sure Brett does positive things in spring training, in addition to telling bizarre stories.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Brett can do...

…no wrong in my book—-with regard to baseball things. …I imagine he has A LOT of bizarre stories to tell about his on and off-the-field endeavors. – TL

Someone is saving this before the Glasses sue the youtube poster for a million billion dollars, right?

And +1, Retro, on the poor guys listening to the story, obviously wanting to get away, but knowing that they can’t.

One more post

I’m pretty sure this is an Instant Classic as far as RR FanShots go, but I’m not the judge. Any way it can be stick-eyed (stickied?) at the left or right as soon as the mods figure out how to do it. You know, along with all the payroll stuff?

Ok, I lied

Think about it — this is what George Brett subjects poor rookies to. Imagine if Pete Rose was allowed around baseball. Imagine being Jay Bruce at Spring Training when Reds Legend and Worthy Competitor Pete Rose comes by to impart some “wisdom.” You can’t walk away, it’s Pete Freaking Rose. And if George Brett is telling this kind of story, imagine what Pete Rose would be saying. I think the ban is beyond worth it.

Won’t someone please think of the children.

He's wearing a mic.

Trying to get some rookie to admit he shits his pants, methinks.

+1

jackin with the rooks never gets old.

It takes 46 muscles to frown but only 4 to flip 'em the bird.

Seriously.

Think about it. That conversation wasn’t taped without Brett knowing about it — and Tony Senior was wandering around looking right into that camera while blowing bubbles. Total rook prank.

Sarcasmâ„¢. It's the new gravy.

Would have been funnier if it was a guy who had a shot at making the team

LOL… Imagine if that had been John Buck! That would have been he funniest video ever… Buck was in the shot a few times. I think I saw him hurrying off as fast as he could at one point.
