Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Sets Assist High In Easy Win Over Sacramento

In my first game at Yankee Stadium, I played right field. When I took my position for the first time, the right-field Bleacher Creatures were all waving at me. I fell into the trap. I waved back at them, thinking, 'This isn't so bad.' As I did so, about 20,000 middle fingers shot back at me. Only in Yankee Stadium.

I actually have some good memories there

It’s too bad it wasn’t maintained/remodeled properly.

The Yanks

Cannot really afford to maintain their own stadium.

Not worth it anyway

I can’t think of it as a “historical site” or anything.

Is something really a “landmark” if it doesn’t have luxury boxes?

Thank god that toilet is gone

And that place really isn’t the Yankee Stadium from the Golden Age anymore. They completely gutted it in the 70’s. The current “old Yankee Stadium” isn’t even old Yankee Stadium. That place has no redeeming characteristics. The new Yankee Stadium will be better, but it is extremely boring architecturally and will still be filled with obnoxious guidos. Some things never change.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

to be fair

the obnoxious guidos will be priced out of the new stadium. I’m sure there will be excellent sightlines available for the stars of Celebrity Sex Camp, Wednesday Nights on Fox, though.

Thank god those scum won’t be allowed in. It will be so much better to get out the parking lot ot catch the latest independent films at the Angelica after a day game.

Will they be priced out?

I would hope so, but season tickets are damned expensive right now and the guidos still manage to pay it. I now the PSL’s are going to kick the cost much higher, but you’d be surprised how much money many of these obnoxious guidos make.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

yeah, it could be the next Taj Mahal, but if it is full of

“obnoxious guidos” – that will take the luster off it quickly
