I don't think I could utter the words

Go White Sox, unless held at gunpoint, but if it keeps the Royals out of last all is well. It doesn’t matter Twins/Sox are both going to be ousted in the first round anyway.

Leadoff walk, eh

It feels so wrong to want them to win.

I hates them.

So why is everyone rooting for the White Sox?

I know that the Twins are over-praised for playing the game the right way, but don’t we feel a kinship with them (horrible owner, relatively small payroll, small players in free agency, etc.)?

And the White Sox are responsible for (a) He gone, (b) the Ligues, © Ozzie.

Go Tigers and Go Twins.

It's an obscure desire

to have actually beaten a team in our own division. Pride, honor, whatever. I want it.

The rain delay worked greatly in my favor:

My internet was down all afternoon, so I thought I’d have to miss this game entirely.

It came back just a bit ago, so I don’t have to miss much. Go White Sox, but ONLY today.

This really is a brutal decision...

I think it’s clear that we need to be pulling for the Sox today, and Twins tomorrow. Obviously we want to stay out of last place, but as nauseating as the “right way” boys are, in an ideal world A.J. Pierzynski never sees a postseason game again.

Seriously, A.J., kill yourself.

I can't root for the White Sox

I’ll take a tie for 4th place. The Sox must go down. I wouldn’t mind them winning today and losing tomorrow, but I don’t want to have to rely on the Twins.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I hear you.

It’s tough. When the Tigers tied it up, I was like, “yeahhnnnnooooummm.”

I wish the gold chain with the big gold pendant would come back in style

Nehru jackets too.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Heimlich maneuver....quick!

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

probably will be changed to one

he slightly bobbled the ball, but the real problem was the high throw

by royalsreview on Sep 29, 2008 6:55 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Leyland is clearly taking this game seriously

Bringing in the team’s best starter in relief.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Most odd SB Nation ad on this site yet

Lane Bryant lingerie. Do we fit their target demographic?

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

And then I just saw one for Bank of America

which doesn’t exist anymore.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I really like it

when NESN shows commercials for MA and Conn companies…while I’m in Maine. Yep, time to drive to Danbury to get some shitty furniture!

My friend is from around that area

and we drove through that area on the way to a tourney. He had a lot of fun pointing out all of the adult industry billboards.

Wrong

your cable box resetting at the worst possible time would be if the Royals were in a game to clinch a playoff berth. :)

4th place, baby.

Thank you Alexei, you no-chinned, weird-faced bastard.

by self loather on Sep 29, 2008 7:26 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Well, there's no way we can lose now

After all, a White Sox meltdown here would be funny, and a one game playoff should be exciting.
