After Bizarre Betancourt Trade, There's Little Goodwill Left For Dayton Moore

Remember a few days ago when the Royals acquired Ryan Freel for no reason and it felt like the Royals had reached a definitive turning point? Apparently, that was only the moment when the Jack Nicholson character gets killed in this version of The Departed.

The response to the trade for Yuniesky Betancourt has been nearly entirely damning, and this might stand out as the moment when even non-stathead fans and writers finally begin to seriously question Dayton Moore. There really aren't many regular players who are capable of posting a sub .300 OBP, but Dayton Moore keeps finding them.
