RR Keeper League Yr2

Now that the holidays are safely behind me and I can start to concentrate solely on baseball season.  Only 68 days until the pitchers and catchers report...  It is a late start this year because of the WBC.  I know that all of you in the Keeper League are on pins and needles for the order of our March 21st draft.  Here it is:

RR Keeper League Draft Order for 2009
Draft Date: March 21, 2009
Draft Time: 8:00 pm. CTUSA

1.  astroph2004
2.  TrumanRoyal
3.  rockchalk
4.  GoBabies
5.  AxDxMx
6.   Matty486 119-149-40
7.   RR's Fun Bunch 126-154-28
8.   gordonrules 119-145-44
9.   Daddy de los Royales 129-153-26
10. Grudz's Bar & Grill 126-152-30
11.  Sisquatch Kids 137-127-44
12.  Loyal2s Gobstoppers 134-142-32
13.  JQ's Sluggers 126-147-35
14.  Marbot Destroy! 142-137-29
15.  Hoch 146-133-29
16.  Randa4Life 144-132-32
17.  stuckinstl12 161-122-25
18.  thedude925=awesome 150-118-40
19.  NYRoyal 155-117-36
20.  RaefzillaHamFighters 175-109-24

Remember to include part of your RR screen name in the name of your team.  This makes it easier to hassle anyone who isn't keeping up with their managing duties and to construct voodoo dolls for the leaders.  The Royal rule does not apply to this league.   Since this is a big league with large rosters, I would suggest a little bit of homework be done before the 21st.

I will post the Yahoo league ID and password as soon as the Yahoo Baseball season starts.  Good luck to all in the upcoming draft and season.

I saved the date

Nothing will stop me this year. I still find it impossible to understand how I ever lost a game last year, given my baseball brilliance and impressive foresight.

Good one, you senile old fart!!!

Do they still let you out of the asylum for good behavior or are you still drooling into your oatmeal?

they would let me out for good behavior...

I forgot, you are...

bald. toothless, and never on your good behavior. God, are you old….. I should tell you that New Year’s Eve on Leech lake with nobody but me, the stars, and the cold. It was wonderful. I did make it home in time for a party before the Iowa game. After dodging drunks on I35… I got home to put the ham in the oven and catch a few hours of sleep. Sometimes the heavens are the best place to be on New Year’s Eve. I know PhiloftheNorth would agree. Be good, you senile, almost 60 something, human.

sounds as good a way as any to welcome in a New Year

we just sent our older daughter off on a trip thru Iowa to go back to college in Minnesota. I hope I35 has cleared up by the time she gets there (around 1 pm). I’ll tell her to keep an eye out for that Zook’s Spur exit….
I’m not pushing 60 (yet). It is getting closer though.

After yesterday's rain and then ice...

everything is covered with about an inch of ice. The main roads look to be okay over here though. It is the parking lots and sidewalks that are treacherous. I just keep thinking that is less than 90 days until Spring Training.

the good news is that she made it

I am glad... she is a tough young lady

to have played bumper cars with the idiots on I35. Her mother must have taught her all of the family driving skills. Congrats….
