his name is mentioned in there. i hope he does sign with them, or anybody for that matter, but it just seems like there is not that many suitors. we could use that draft pick.......

and the Phillies don't seem to care to much about losing the picks either

let’s see…

  • former Royal
  • used to be good and undervalued
  • very old

I’ll conservatively guess Ruben gives him 3/24. He’s good, but he’s no Raul ibanez.

sounds more like a Giants type of player

also, nitpicking, but they wouldn’t lose a draft pick. we’d just get a supp. pick, likely in the 45ish overall range according to Callis.

Nationals are another team he could go to

Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.

thanks

for not making fun of my non-understanding of MLB’s oh-so-easy to follow transaction/compensation rules

Do they Giants really go for former Royals? Affeldt, I guess, but his has been a strangley semi-competent offseason from Sabean. My whole world is shaken up.

I found it amusing

He was deciding between the Dodgers and Padres. He chose the Dodgers. Then SNAP the Padres sign Henry Blanco in retalitation. Take that LA!

Please sign, Grudz

I’ve seen Grudz’s name linked with a handful of teams over the last month or so, but always in a group of a half dozen other players. I hope to hell he signs. At this point, there’s a risk that he gets no decent offers and just retires.

I'd like to see him sign with a contender

I bet he doesn’t have to pick up folding chairs in Philly.
