He's as good as Frank White
Or are you calling Ryan Lefebvre a liar?

I like how the most valuable Royal, Mike Aviles, tied with Marco Scutaro
Too many names at the bottom of both leagues have been tied by mention to the Royals (or are Royals).

that list isn't fair to Rossie

Aviles ends up at 51.6 when you add in how bad TPJ was
That leaves him only behind these guys.
Sizemore Grady
Rodriguez Alex
Pedroia Dustin
Mauer Joe
Roberts Brian
Beltre Adrian

great t-shirt idea
also ties in great with “Avilanche.”

Interesting that GMDM has acquired two of the bottom four in the AL (Pena and Gload) and has tried to acquire two of the bottom three in the NL (Jones and Francoeur.) WTF!!!!!!
Kyle Farnsworth is my hero. Not many men can turn zero talent into 9.5 mil during a recession.

None other than Jo-El Peralta.

and suddenly, he has a brand new addendum to his pick up line repertoire
Hey you, want to help me pack? I’m the second-worst pitcher in the American League! Who wouldn’t want to get with that?

He'll bounce back in 2009
(perhaps not with the Royals). He pitched pretty damn well before 2008 and 2009 involved a very flukey/unlucky HR/FB rate.

yeah, his 2007 was shockingly good
I hope the Royals can get him on a minor-league deal. (Insert comment about Farnsworth)

I believe he was tendered an arbitration offer
…which means he’ll be getting a major league deal, unless they release him by the deadline and pay him 1/6th. As this is his first year of arbitration and his cumulative stats over the last two years for arbitration purposes aren’t particularly good, he’ll likely get a pretty small contract and likely less than he’s really worth.
