Joakim Soria got the job done in the season's final month, resulting in the Kansas City closer being named the winner of the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Month Award for September.

I can't believe Kyle Farnsworth didn't win this
He delivered the win to the Yankees in the game that I was “lucky” enough to watch. Well, at least I felt good for eight innings…poor Anthony Lerew.

Lerew obviously sucks
because in the end for pitchers it all comes down to Wins and Losses.
But seriously, Lerew impressed me that night. I don’t know that we should expect that to continue, but it was a great moment for one of our minor leaguers, and shows that some of them can compete regardless of what our front office thinks.
