Arizona Fall League...
The Surprise Rafters are out to an unusually good start at 4-1. Mousetaco has brought his bat with him to the desert and is having some early success. Here are the early stats... Bianchi had better get the sun out of his eyes and start putting the bat on the ball. Our pitchers are looking like all relievers which maybe is a good thing for our pitiful bullpen next season. Danny G. are recent download to another team seems to have righted the ship and looks good early.

Billy, Billy, Billy... I dare alot of things.
I highlighted Danny G. as another example of Dancing Dayton’s dumping of players only to have them perform better for their new team than they ever did for the Royals. I think it is the old “change of scenery” thing. Granted old Danny boy wasn’t much of a loss but if he shows up on his new teams starting roster next season it will be no surprise. That is if he can stay out of trouble.

I apologize
if this has been covered elsewhere, but any word on why Lough hasn’t gotten into a game yet in Arizona?

I doublechecked and Lough is on the roster.
So, I don’t know… he isn’t on the injured list.

To be fair,
I don’t think that they’ve added the stats from Saturday’s game yet (at least on the team page). Looking at each individual’s page will get you their up to date stats. For example, Bianchi actually has 5 hits (all singles) which puts his ave at .278.

Stephen Strasburg pitche 3.1 innings
And only got 2 strikeouts. I feel confident in ticking the “bust” box.

He couldn't possibly live up to the expectations at this point right?
Even if he is a perennial All-Star Game starter, he’d still be a bust. This guy was supposed to cure cancer and bring about world peace, how’s he gonna do that?

He already did.

Just wait until he and Wieters square off
In a Washington-Baltimore interleague series. I anticipate a rip in the space-time continuum and the end of all life as we know it.
