Hi _____,
Earlier today, an email promoting Kansas City Royals postseason tickets was sent to you. This, unfortunately, was a mistake. We regret the error and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.Sincerely,
The StubHub Team
The second of two e-mails I received from StubHub today. The first one was indeed inconvenient and confusing...they got a joker in the house...

I would like to see the Royals in postseason action
All teams with less than 65 wins or less are put up for relegation. That means the Royals, Pittsburgh, Washington, Baltimore and Cleveland. Washington has the worst record, so they have a bye into the 2nd round. 1st round is best of 7, with seed 2 playing seed 5, and 3 and 4 playing each other. First team to lose 4 games advances to the next round. Round 2 brings Washington back in where they play 3 games against each team. The team with the most losses is relegated to AAA. If the teams tie for most losses, a final playoff game between the tied teams take place, in the event of a 3 way tie, the team with the largest run differential (runs scored – runs allowed0 is kicked out and the remaining 2 teams play for their lives.

Thats a big drop
It’s only fair that the “winner” of the relegation series should play the winner of the AAA Championship game. So Durham v the Royals (or whoever) for a place in the AL 2010!
Feel the excitement.

That is much better.
Feel the excitement
I believe you meant “Feel the Excrement!”

Or "Freel the Excitement"

Not interested in the post season tickets themselves;
instead, I’m waiting to see if Stubhub will be selling tickets to the parade.
Mr Glass, this is a pro sports team, not a retail store - run it like one!

We apologize for the mistaken e-mails
But please, trust our process. It’s all part of a new blue tradition.

So you're saying the Royals ALCS tickets I bought are worthless?
I thought they might be when I realized there is no team called the “Spungos”, and the fact the tickets were printed on graham crackers.

That sounds like a Simpsons reference
though I can’t place the episode, off-hand. Just sounds like something Homer would have said after foolishly buying fake tickets.

Good call!
I was hoping someone would get it. It was when they went to the Super Bowl.
