No runs

But he is corrupting all his team mates. Just you watch, every player on the 2009 Suprise Rafters will suck next year and have multiple legal issues and suspensions.

We cut out the cancer. Trust the process.

He's also walked more batters than he's struck out

He’s pitched less than 7 innings so far in Arizona and only 30 more than that during the entire 2009 season.

We all understand that the trade was not primarily based on baseball skills and is therefore almost certainly doomed to not turn out favorably for the Royals. Is the trade one of many decisions where Dayton makes it hard to believe that he understands his own process? Absolutely. Is it likely to have a large impact on either team’s chances of winning a World Series? Probably not.

I’m not saying that Dayton shouldn’t be criticized for making bad moves just because he makes so many of them (Not every trade can bring us Yuniesky Betancourt). I just think Gutierrez needs to spend a full year in another organization before we can really begin to evaluate how much we gave up.

Manuel (not Miguel) Pina

Currently is posting a 1.200 OPS (4-10 with a double and a triple) in the Venezuelan league. So, if we’re just going by Winter League stats, we’re winning this trade.

Or maybe we should just not overreact to small sample sizes…

If you look closely, it really says "CentralChamps2012."
