It was John Mizerock's fault. He's the only coach shown the door for the fine performance of the Royals this season.

Accountability starts now!

Best line in the story

"Rusty’s new position will allow him to touch more people," Moore said.

Creepy…

If you look closely, it really says "CentralChamps2012."

I’ve had enough of the “creepy” comments over that last week.

But he could have worded it differently.

Dave Owen still third base coach

Wonderful.

After the Yankees missed the playoffs last year in an 89 win season, they fired their horrible third base coach despite his being their manager’s BFF. The Royals, of course, choose to retain their horrible third base coach who is their manager’s BFF.

Accountability matters so much in the Royals organization

Kuntz: “Assistant General Manager!?! Great! I’ll take it”
Moore: “um… no. Assistant TO the General Manager.”

That sucks

The Royals have an unbelievably bad year base running, and they keep Owens? Make him special assistant to a special assistant to Trey or whatever, but get his butt away from third base.

Make him the secretary to the traveling secretary's secretary.

They want an ex-pitcher as bullpen coach

Which brokedown Braves pitcher will Dayton offer the job to? Kerry Ligtenberg? Greg McMichaels? Steve Avery?
