I was somewhat against it at the time

but the decision to move DDJ to LF looks like a good one

his defense is a big part of his value and he got a lot of that back in 2009

Easily the most under appreciated player on the team

He gets way too much criticism on here from some people.

My favorite Royal I think.

To be fair

If DDJ left, i’m sure Dayton would replace him. Add Willy Tavares into that outfield and away we go!

I agree

I think he gets way too much criticism. He hits for a decent average, has a little pop in his bat , and plays good defense. I’d move Guillen before I’d move DeJesus.

the fact that you even put them in the same sentence shows that davey should be gone....

nothing to do with my davey hatred…but he’s useless for this organization..as he has been for the past year and a half…he’s worth more gone than he is with us

It's too bad that his baserunning declined this year.

And the pick-offs are extremely annoying.

But he’s been a good player for a long time. We could use more DDJs.

Just another one of Trey's acqusitions keeping this team afloat

Just imagine if Allard hadn’t left the cupboard so bare!

DDJ is a Herk Robinson holdover, kind of

Drafted by Robinson, signed by Baird. Which shocked me. He’s been around a long time.

Yes

With the Royals.

Eight years after being overthrown as G.M.

Thank you, Glass/Moore for bringing accountability and professionalism back to the Royals!

Ummm...DDJ is the prettiest on the team...

…so I’d just as soon we kept him. He makes sitting out in section 103 a lot more fun.

Is this Minda?

I used to work with an old man that told me. Son, every workplace has a dumbass, if you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.

No - I'm a different girl.

The first game we went to this year, my husband and I sat out in section 103 (had to try the new seats!). He was teasing me about having a perfect view of DeJesus, and as he did that, a young woman ran up the aisle, stood right behind DDJ, took a picture of his butt and then ran off. My husband thought it was hilarious and it did make me feel like less of a stalker.
