New Blog: Voodoo Five for South Florida Bulls Fans!

Remember that guy who writes really awesome blog posts about the Royals? He's back.

Rany gives us his thoughts on all the happenings since he said "I'm done", including the Teahen trade, GMDM's coveting of players with low service-time and the training staff. It's a great (long) read. Savor it b/c he might not write again for a while.

Rany's logic is so sound...

I can’t ever think of a column where I didnt’ agree with him after reading it.

This space for rent.

I love this quote:

“That’s a tall order for Kevin Seitzer, but after sticking Seitzer with the likes of Mike Jacobs, Miguel Olivo, and Yuniesky Betancourt over the past year, a project like Fields must feel like a remedial assignment. "

Jeff Zimmerman - Protecting the world from RBI's and Wins from my mom's guest house.

I just don't think he should say
There’s no way.

If there’s a Dayton, there’s a way.

My favorite part

being “torn” betweeen Law/Cameron vs. Kahrl/Sheehan

that’s like not knowing whose judgment to trust more: Jack Z. or Dayton Moore

I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at FanGraphs.

Kahrl did too (but only referred to you as "others" who have looked at catcher defense)

Appropriately, it came within a discussion of Miguel Olivo:

[Olivo’s] receiving skills are just flat-out awful, per some fine work done by Brian Cartwright before the season, and followed up on by others after this season.
