Twins get SS JJ Hardy for Carlos Gomez
I know there was speculation here that the Royals could get Hardy cheap, and it seems like they both got a good trade here. JJ was done in Milwaukee with Alcides Escobar taking over at SS, and Gomez looks like a 4th OFer with speed that the Brewers are more able to take advantage of in the NL.
I wish the Royals had Gomez and Hardy.

CF Market
that is one less team looking for a CF. With Crisp and Cameron on the market—it will be interesting to see who ends up where. I could see Cameron going to the Cubs and I’m not sure where that leaves Crisp—I suppose we might be able to sign him cheap but that is only a band-aid. We still don’t have a long term solution.
I would rather work out a trade for young CF—and this also reduces the competition for that.
Phillies picked up Cliff Lee's option
And in other news, the sky is still blue and water is still wet.
