Did the Royals start a scientific research division?
Also, does this mean that Science has run its course in human history, and is on its way out?

My reply to your second question is
no way. Science is collaborative, fits in perfectly with wikipedia.
I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.
Yeah, I actually expect scientific achievement to accelerate even faster
as the world becomes more interconnected. Knowledge from one area can be applied to another, but too often in the past that knowledge was unknown or unaccessable to the person searching. The internet is changing things very quickly.
For example, Bill James’s ideas and knowledge were out there in the 1980s, but the vast majority of people had no clue. Teams were just starting to use some kind of advanced analysis and computers (gasp!) back then. Now even just plain old fans know that RBIz aren’t all they were cracked up to be. Other disciplines have come into play as well, math and economics seem to be 2 prime ones in sabermetrics. And that’s in a science that really doesn’t matter. Imagine what real scientists can do with this interconnectivity! They could fake global warming! :) And if you haven’t read that story, I would suggest you do so. It’s not really being covered by the major media.
Earnest Debate Is
The driving force in scientific research, and you’re right, a wiki format suits that well. As to faking global warming, the story gets a lot of press at Fox and too little elsewhere. I’ve been reading http://www.realclimate.org/ for years. Anyone who is not entirely driven by the desire to debunk global warming can see what the email “scandal” is about. These guys will discuss any reasonable idea, and some not so reasonable, with virtually anyone.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
