One day, I will mark the Royals' success by....

not being the feature of an Onion story for at least two years. But until that day, I will take solace in the laughter created at the expense of my fanhood.

That was some funny shit.

The joke is more than a little off

Because Moore’s problem hasn’t been a lock of offseason moves; it has been too many awful offseason moves. He was all too aware last offseason that he could make moves. He buried the team by doing just that.

it's the onion... those w/ knowledge of us understand that

but the national joke scene will still be on us until a move actually works

Farnsworth's imitation tight-pants now on sale at Dick's!

It's accurate thus far in the 2009-10 offseason

Unless you count Osuna.

Or non-tendering players. The moves made thus far have been spot on

Who really cares whether we get Kendall, Posednik, etc. This team is going to be hard to watch regardless. Hopefully Guillen, Meche, Dejesus, Callaspo generate enough interest throughout the year that we can trade them for more prospects. This team doesn’t have a prayer of being competitive until 2012

Hoagy Is Generating

Interest in offshore bank accounts if he has a brain at all; other than that, not much.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Just like last year, he has been active early

The problem hasn’t been the quantity of offseason moves. It has been the quality.
