Frank White worked on the construction crew too
Kauffman is the only AL stadium currently named after a person. Progressive Field was named after former owner Richard Jacobs and it was kinda tacky the sold the naming rights (as they did at Jack Murphy Stadium)
Its only a matter of time before the Royals do the same. Goodbye Kauffman Stadium, hello Mr. Goodcents Field!

I Seem To
Remember that Jackson County or the Chiefs or whoever controls the naming rights is going to sell the rights to Arrowhead. I don’t like it.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

6. Kila Ka'aihue hit the most awesome home run ever there
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at FanGraphs.

This is probably a stupid question
But on the off chance that this isn’t sarcasm, when did that happen?
yep
It marked the first time I ever heard “Hawk” Harrelson(sp?) say anything flat out positive about a team that wasn’t the white sox.
I refuse to set up a signature....DAMMIT
Here's his first
I LOVE the way Hawk just mangles his last name:

Whatever
That homer was weak. Big Mac’s shot off the Dog Food sign back in 98 is still my my pick.
(sigh)

Fact Number 7:
It was better before the renovations. We should used that money towards a Downtown stadium around 2015.
Should've stopped at "Wikipedia"
Kauffman Stadium is the only stadium in the American League named in honor of a person.
While the Twins technically played their last game at the HUBERT H. HUMPHREY Metrodome, they have yet to make their debut in their new stadium.
Wikipedia is almost as reliable as Fan House or Wordpress.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
Fanhouse?
Outside of the Mariotti’s and Price’s over there, the bloggers are actually pretty good. Do you mean BleacherReport?
I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.
I don't know when this happened
But I was watching some NFL wrap up show and they referred to the Metrodome as “Mall of America Field”. Wha??!?!?

It now has one of those really dumb names
“Mall of America Field at The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome”

Wikipedia is awesome
The Metrodome is now named Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, so I suppose technically (even though they will play at Target field from now on) you are correct.
However, Wikipedia is the single best place to read about an unfamiliar topic. You just need some common sense and the time to read the sourced links. The sources cited for a Wikipedia article are usually far more scholarly than anything easily found using a generic search engine.
