good Japanese stats

I wonder what he has. Also the other guy, first year contract. I wish they would give more info. Is this a 16 year old kid or a 20 year old kid? No scouting reports either. Someone with the access, hook us up. Thanks!

good stats in 13 2/3 innings?

In six minor league seasons Payano never got above AA and has a career 4.13 ERA predominately as a reliever. But he’s only 27 so maybe Kendall can turn him around.

Baseball's that swingy stick game, right?

Shocking bit of news here:
Payano, 27, spent six minor-leagues seasons in the Braves and Mariners organizations before pitching in Japan last year, where he was 0-2 with a 2.68 ERA with 16 strikeouts and five walks in 13 2/3 innings.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

this one's a twofer!

like HoRam. anyone else? the rarest of breeds. and HoRam has the added benefit of being a White Sox, which is DM’s newest fetish.

No

If you keep adding a team every year, then eventually the joke will be that Moore trades with every team. That’s not funny at all…actually, it is funny, because GMDM will probably be our GM for the next 30 years.

Can't find anything on Jorge Bonifacio...

But I will note that the second Bing image result is EMILIO Bonifcacio…who just so happened to play for the mariners (and is wearing a mariners jersey in the picture)

Maybe DMGM got confused?

You know I went back and looked at the article that picture was attached to...

And not a single player mentioned in the article played for the mariners or for any of their affiliates.
Its made even wierder by the fact that the text around the image said Emilio Bonifacio, but the Alt_text on the image shows Jorge Cantu, which is why it came up in a search for Jorge Bonifacio…but as far as I can tell Cantu was never a mariner.

so…IDK?

Lotte brought pitcher Yasuhiko Yabuta back from the Royals organization

Yubuta earned lots of millions, goes back to play in Japan.
