Posted this more because I always assumed outside food and drink has always been banned at movie theaters.

Do you normally take your own food and drink to theaters without hiding it?

Yeah

I thought the exact same thing when I read that article.

Well

I used to hide everything, but recently I have been just walking in with it. I can’t get past the point that I just paid 20 bucks for my wife and I to see a movie and then they want to bend me back over once I get inside if I want anything to eat or drink. So I just started walking in with it like that was the rule.
I guess this was put in just for me, am I the only one?

You do realize the vast majority of box office receipts go to the studios and not the theater right?

That’s why they charge such high prices for food. If they were smart, they’d charge different prices for better seats. I’d be willing to pay a premium to sit in the middle.
