I'd say this is like a battle over the last girl at a bar...

but there are plenty of other less fugly options out there.

And it's well after midnight

and we all know nothing good happens after midnight.

I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.

This Reeks Of

Elimination, alright.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

It flat reeks..........

If 99% of the crowd on this blog realizes that Navarro is the C worth pursuing this winter, what the hell is going on. We’re all crazy, or GMDM is the GM equivalent of Tony Muser. I’m with the grass creek crowd (Blanton?), its like NOT trying to stare at the woman with perfect tits at the grocery store when you are with your wife.

Is it just me?

Is anyone else getting a feeling, that if we did nothing this off-season and just filled our positions with the current players, we would be better off.

I’m fine with Buck and Pena catching, as opposed to everyone Moore’s is supposedly interested in. God knows what other problem areas he’ll “fix” next.

"It’s not about the guacamole itself," Greinke said. "I just don’t want to let them win."

Its not just you

I think if Dayton just went home and unhooked his phone til April, we’d probably be better off.

Does Dayton Moor have something against hitting?

The way things are going this team is going to average about a run per game.

by Olentangy on Dec 9, 2009 7:34 PM EST reply actions

He also has something against fielding

How else can I say this....

Jeff Zimmerman - Protecting the world from RBI's and Wins from my mom's guest house.

Godfuckingdammit

Maybe I could cope with one year, but two?

Knowing GMDM, it’s $6 million a year…

Um, Ruben Amaro's team just went to the World Series

and HE just signed Gload for two years.

When will you people learn?

A player’s production, like technology, is cyclical. You gotta lock that down!

This news really dissapoints me

The offseason was off to a good start, and, while a deal like this wouldn’t ruin it, as we’d only be looking at around a $5M commitment for a couple of years, it sure isn’t a step in the right direction.

Well, hey, if they sign him for 2 years to be a BACKUP to B. Pena, and DFA Buck, i guess it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever…If they keep Buck & DFA Pena, I’d lose it.

BOOM! ROASTED!

Part Of The

Supposed appeal of signing with KC is the chance to start; I can’t remember where I read that, but look what happened with Olivoyl.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Kendall reminds me of something...

Jake Taylor: [in Mexico, he answers the phone] Hello?
Charlie Donovan: Jake Taylor, this is Charlie Donovan of the Clevland Indians. How would you like to play for us this season.
Jake Taylor: What?
Charlie Donovan: We would surely like to…
Jake Taylor: [interrupting] Is that you, Tolbert? Look, I am hung over, my knees are killing me and if you’re gonna pull this shit at least you can say you’re from the Yankees.

Lou Brown: Hey, Jake. Hows the knees holding up?
Jake Taylor: Great! Never been better.
Lou Brown: Mobility’s good? No problem getting off the throw to second?
Jake Taylor: No problemo.
Lou Brown: I need a catcher, Jake. Someone who can lead this team on the field. But I want the absolute truth, here, are you one-hundred percent?
Jake Taylor: Yeah, would I bullshit you about something like that?
Lou Brown: You better, if you wanna make this team.

- just scratch in Dayton Moore, the Royals and Kendall and Trey.

Go Royals!
