Dear Royals Review Readers,
Please do not engage in unprotected sex with Roberto Alomar. That is all.

Bizarre week for baseball
I say if you are a baseball player and have any skeletons in your closet whatsoever, this is the week to admit it. It will get buried.

really a fairly horrifying story
1) gotta love suing a guy you lived with for years right before he’s going to die (or so it seems)
2) gotta love giving someone HIV
and
3) why is the part about being raped by two men 20 years ago relevant? why did he tell his doctor that?

#3 is a pretty horrifying detail to have publicized.
My understanding was that he had some problems with erectile dysfunction, which can be caused by sex-related traumas in a person’s past. Still not entirely sure why the details about his ED were included, though.
WTF, self?

Oh wow
“I have no comment,” she said outside her lavish home in Whitestone, Queens, after getting out of a black Cadillac Escalade.
That’s quite the hidden stance the writer of the article is taking on this situation.
What I don’t get from the article is where Alomar knew he had a disease. I don’t understand the timeline, “in 2002. A month after they began dating, Alomar convinced Dall to have unprotected sex and assured her he was disease-free”
The suit admits that he kept refusing the test, so how could he knowingly know anything?
And okay that’s 2002. But then it goes to April 2005 where “A few months later, the couple moved to Cleveland, where Alomar supposedly tested positive. Dall claims that after she learned Alomar had AIDS, she tested negative and no longer had unprotected sex with him.”
Ugh whatever. This article’s timeline is poorly written, and is more a shock piece of a bunch of private things turned public.

it also slightly seems to say
it was from the rape incident way, way back.
I also noticed that crack on her “lavish home”. kind of a strange deal all around.
