Pitching coach Bob McClure didn’t hesitate when asked if anyone has caught his eye in these preliminary throwing sessions.
"Without question," McClure said. "His fastball looks really good."
That’s particularly notable because Rosa didn’t pitch last season after Aug. 13 because of a sore forearm. That injury also prompted the Marlins top reject a trade of Rosa for first baseman Mike Jacobs before agreeing to take Leo Nuñez.
Did we know this already and I just missed it? I wouldn't have wanted to trade either one for him, but out of the 2 I think I'd rather have Rosa.
