Illustrious former Royal and fourteen year veteran Kelly Lee Stinnett was born on Valentine's Day, 1970.
Stinnett turns 39 today, and is rumored to be spending the day practicing his water jug throws as he attempts to make a Major League comeback.
Stinnett played one season with the Royals, hitting .305/.379/.458, in what was probably one of the best seasons by a Royals catcher this decade. Well, best 20 games anyway.
