ESPN Hotstove Reporting Royals are "eyeing" Orlando Hudson
If the Royals are "eyeing" Hudson the way I used to "eye" women on the New York subway system . . . well . . . let's just agree that "eyeing" should not be used to analogize organizational interest in ballplayers.
Anyway, according to a banner on Espn.com's MLB hompage, "Rumors: Royals eyeing Orlando Hudson
"
I am not an "Insider" as I have found the cost of being an "Insider" far outweighs the benefits, but I assume they are accepting people's money in exchange for some type of unique insight into sports. In this case, they're purporting to have "Inside Info" regarding the Royals interest in Hudson. But I think they are just pulling off of Bob Dutton's article from Saturday (http://www.kansascity.com/sports/royals/story/1035299.html). Am I wrong? Do they have a unique spin or new source?
According to Dutton, "The Royals continue to look longingly at free-agent second baseman Orlando Hudson."
Is "eyeing" and looking "longingly" equally as creepy?
Anyway - if anyone can access the report and clue us in that'd be great.
As an aside - do we want him? I think I do . . . . . .
