Greetings everyone...

  • As you may have noticed, I've added two new authors to the Royals Review team, Darren (aka nwroyal) and Matt (aka marbotty). Both guys will be writing mostly about the draft/prospects/minor league guys on a regular basis. Look for their work on Wednesdays and Fridays. I'm really excited to have them on-board, augmenting our site discussion of an area that's seemingly always on our mind. Moderator/author NYRoyal will also be around as a contributor and NHZ should be back in the saddle at some point (although he's living the dream as a male college student in Maine at the moment). I've made a conscious effort to increase the number of front page posts over the last few months, and hopefully, with some help, we can keep it up.
  • If you go to the Royals portal in Yahoo, you'll see a nice blue box with links from Royals Review. This feature has only been live for a few days, and is still somewhat in the beta stage. There are a few more places on Yahoo where, potentially, RR is going to show up, but I don't want to jinx that yet. This is all part of a new partnership between SB Nation and Yahoo Sports, which you can read about here and here. This is pretty cool for me, considering that when I started blogging it was all about getting links to my blog on message boards and on the sidebars of other obscure blogs, most of which are now defunct.
  • Lastly, I'm a little torn on how to handle this, but I think that for the most part, Spring Training Open Threads are going to remain as fanshots/fanposts, either put up by me or one of you all if you feel the urge. I'll try to flip them onto the front page when I can...
