Apparently, Mark has been making progress with his defense. And the omnipresent "club officials" seem to be assigning a lot of meaning to his meaningless spring training stats. I think it would be great to put Teahen's bat into the lineup every day, especially if he really has somehow found his 2006 magic again. But I still question how he can learn yet another new position in a few weeks. I would anticipate more than a few growing pains in April/May. Another downside Dutton seems to emphasize is the likelihood that Teahen at 2B means the retention of Gload as a defensive backup to 1B.
