Game 9 Overflow Thread

We crossed the 600-comment threshold, while (im)patiently waiting for Thporquie and the Gang to put up some kind of offense in thupport of Thir Thidney Ponthon.

And then, as if the game wasn't aggravating enough, Will's promise of an overflow thread at 2:30 did not materialize, and we were all left to wander around, asking random women "Are You My Mommy?" The women were not amused.

I think I need a few more words here, so here are more words. Is that enough? YES!

Jacobs?

If he gets a hit, I’m fine.

And actually, he’s been better than Butler so far.

Isn't the defensive replacement

Supposed to be better than the guy he’s going in for?

You think Butler might someday be a better hitter.

Right now, as we speak, Buck’s the best hitter on the team.

I'll take it again.

OK, Gordon.

Time to make up for all of that suck with a double in the gap.

That would be awesome.
