There was an episode of 30 Rock
Where Liz Lemon’s boyfriend was moving to Cleveland, and the running gag was that everyone thought Cleveland was awesome. Even Jack Donaghy mentioned something about how there are places that people love to visit, but you wouldn’t want to live there. Places like the Bahamas, Rome, Cleveland….
They also had part of the show in Cleveland and it was actually kinda sweet to Cleveland, not totally tongue-in-cheek.
