A Truce in the Battle of Grass Creek?
The international community has breathed a huge sigh of relief today as signs of detente are emerging between the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals.
Thanks to some high-level diplomacy and solid analytical work by a buddy of mine, the Battle of Grass Creek may have been peacefully resolved.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2009 MariRoyals.

Truce? TRUCE?
Things are just heating up!!! The Mariners and Royals are both sitting in FIRST PLACE! They are a date with destiny. They will inevitably clash in an October matchup that will have intercontinental ramifications from here to Wyoming. You sir, are the new Neville Chamberlain. Appease the Mariners? NEVER!!!!
NO MERCY!!!! ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE!!!

Kyle Farnsworth
may be overpaid, and not very good, but we will never give up the fight. Ever. He is one of us til the day he dies or his contract expires, whichever comes first.
Look...
I’m not saying we disarm the nukes (Greinke’s slider, Meche’s curve, Davies’s change, Guillen’s temper, Blomquist’s grit), just that we back down from hair trigger alert.
Too much blood has been shed for too many years.
All we are saying is give peace a chance.

An ape,
in one of the sequals to “Planet of the Apes”? Or was it in the original?
I know it was “Only good human is a dead human”
Mr Glass, this is a pro sports team, not a retail store - run it like one!
Nice team though...
Even Trey couldn’t screw that up.
But no, the missiles must remain targeted, the bombs armed,. NO SURRENDER.
