A Truce in the Battle of Grass Creek?

The international community has breathed a huge sigh of relief today as signs of detente are emerging between the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals.

Thanks to some high-level diplomacy and solid analytical work by a buddy of mine, the Battle of Grass Creek may have been peacefully resolved.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2009 MariRoyals.

Somehow Kyle Farnsworth did not make the final 25 man roster...go figure.

Kyle Farnsworth

may be overpaid, and not very good, but we will never give up the fight. Ever. He is one of us til the day he dies or his contract expires, whichever comes first.

Look...

I’m not saying we disarm the nukes (Greinke’s slider, Meche’s curve, Davies’s change, Guillen’s temper, Blomquist’s grit), just that we back down from hair trigger alert.

Too much blood has been shed for too many years.

All we are saying is give peace a chance.

An ape,

in one of the sequals to “Planet of the Apes”? Or was it in the original?

I know it was “Only good human is a dead human”

Nice team though...

Even Trey couldn’t screw that up.

But no, the missiles must remain targeted, the bombs armed,. NO SURRENDER.
