Through six innings, the offense has looked sort of feeble. Check that - they've looked incredibly feeble. The pressure has been on Bannister all night, with only a one-run cushion with which to work. Will it be enough? Will the Royals bats ever come through? On a scale of 1-10, how gushy will the next edition of JoePo's BannyLog be?

I need more words now, so here's some lyrics:

I doubt he’ll be able to throw shutout baseball every time out (duh), but I’m impressed. If Hoch’s improvement is for real, then we have 6 legitimate starting pitchers.

Unless last night was more indicative of Ponson’s true performance.
