What's the MLB average chance of winning a game you lead after seven?
Obviously, it would depend on the size of the lead, but it would be really interesting to look at the MLB average chance after 7 with a one-run lead, two-run lead, three-run lead, etc., then compare it to how the Royals were doing at 40 games into the season, 80 games in, etc. If they are significantly below the average percentage of games won, then there are only two possible explanations: (1) the bullpen is horrible, or (2) Hillman just doesn’t know how to manage it.

He Needs A
Better Bench coach; “Get the lefty”.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

I think that percentage will get better over the season
hopefully this is early season, trying to figure out who is worth keeping around type bullpen usage….I’m just trying to look at it from glass half full type of perspective.

What we need is a lefty specialist...
and a guy who can throw 98MPH. That would fix it.
