Opening Day Overflow Thread

Star-divide

Treyball's pullin' all the right strings. And Gordon has homered again on Opening Day, creating a new cultural tradition of immense symbolic power.

Meche ran into some singles-based trouble in the second, but a nice play by DDJ has kept the game tied.

Let's build a bridge to Farnsworth.

Any idea how many pitches he faced in the 1st inning? I worry as it seems in the past he didn’t try to take nearly as many in the 3 spot as he did in the 1. He’s even talked about the need to take pitches for other hitters in the lineup when he leads off.
