Damn Straight!
Does Travis have to stick on the 25 man roster to stay?
Funny thing, I was talking to his mom and dad just two weeks ago. His younger brother Tyler plays for Western Illinois and they were in Lawrence to watch their son play against the Jayhawks. When I saw them cheering for Tyler I thought they might be his parents and so introduced myself. Tyler had a great series. He hit three homeruns in two games. The Hawks crushed the Leathernecks but Tyler did fine. We talked briefly about Travis. They seemed to expect him to be sent down to AAA again. They did not seem happy about the situation. Turns out it couldn’t have worked out better.

so for Fabio Castro
we get Esty for 3 years. We release Esty. And then pick up Metcalf on waivers from Texas. And then Texas claims Esty from the Cubs. Weird.

Dan Giese recently slipped past us on waivers
He was pretty decent last year, and several projections systems have him doing better than a certain $9 million reliever.

yeah, but
not only did Giese never play for the Braves, he has absolutely no 2005 MLB stats at all
