Ok....Help me watch the royals
We've all bitched and moaned about poor royals coverage in the past (especially in Iowa) but I want to resolve this issue (i want to watch games).
Here is the cliffnotes version of past notes.
1.The royals aren't on tv in Iowa, FSN carries cards and twins games instead.
2. This is bad, but would be ok if royals fans were able to buy MLB.tv...but in Iowa the Royals are in the "local market" and therefore all their games are blacked out.
3. I would pay for the service if it was availabe to me...but it isn't. Therefore i need a black market royals fix. Does anyone know of a website which streams royals games online?? I'd feel bad, but if MLB is too stupid to take my money then they don't deserve it.
Anyone have some ideas?
Remember to tip the waitress, thank you and goodnight.

Recommendation
Call MLB.tv customer service at 1-866-800-1275, explain that you are not in actually in a local market and see what they can do for you. You never know, they might be more willing to help than you think.

you would think
They would help, but I’ve tried this 3 years in a row…no dice. It never hurts to try though, youre right.
At least Wally Joyner's not on the team....

You can watch the games 45 minutes after they conclude
And the games are saved. I found that out after I chose not to waste my money.
But now it’s a good option. Watch the game when you want

today
I have the same problem here in Kirksville (northeast MO, not far from Iowa), and I watched the game on TVAnts.
Sometimes you can catch some games if you download TVAnts and Sopcast and use this link:

It’s not great, it’s delayed about two minutes from the live broadcast but it’s better than nothing.

i’ve never checked to see if it has MLB games, though.

this sucks
I recently accepted a job in Des Moines, and I’ll be moving there this summer. I knew that I couldn’t count on FSN, but you’re telling me that I can’t even pay to watch Royals games?
