This lineup has just fallen apart since the last homestand

It’s embarrassing to put up the kind of offense they have against this crap pitching staff

Not a good series for Callapso.

I’m sick of Ryan making “BALL HIT HARD” excuses. Our infield has botched 4 or 5 plays today.

did anyone comment yet on the silliness of lineips based on recent performance and hot st reaks

being illustrated by this lineup? Callaspo’s a good hitter, but by ignoring splits, Hillman missed that DDJ is actually hitting RHP better than Callaspo this season… but he drops him in the order anyway

Not that batting orders matter much, but it’s more about the streakiness. Not sure why DDJ is having so much more trouble than usual w/ LHP this season (I know some have mentioned that he might be trying to pull too much — if you ask me, I think it’s all the smiling).

Uehara is a decent pitcher.

How has Hochevar looked so far?

not to be too obvious, but it depends on what your definition of "bust" is

Just off the top of my head:

If potential NO. 1 Starter is your baseline, he’s almost certainly already a bust

if #2 or #3-type starter is your baseline, he’s not there yet, but needs to show something this season in the majors — doesn’t have to be a #2 yet, just show the potential with some decent MLB starts

If “replacement level” (HoRam as a starter) is your definition of bust, I think he’s got a ways to go to be considered that bad

like I said, just some general impressions off the top of my head
