Game 42 Open Thread - Royals at Cardinals
Kansas City Royals at St. Louis Cardinals, May 22, 2009 8:15 PM EDT
Missouri may never be the same...

You could probably platoon with Aviles at short
but I’m sure you have a little more pop in your bat. Can you play 150 games a year?
Christ almighty this team h as been absolute dogshit since the beginning of the 6 game losing streak.
That is all. carry on.

Also, I have seen enough Mike aviles.
He does not even resemble the same player of last year. No idea what has gone wrong, but it’s gone horribly, horribly, wrong. He needs some time in AAA to get his mind right.

I don't know if he's changed something, or what...
But it makes no sense. He’s consistently late on fastballs he was pounding last season, this isn’t just BABIP regressing to the mean – I mean, he actually LOOKS like a different player at the plate. It’s really weird and quite unfortunate.

are idiots. If I wanted to pay to watch a HS all stater hit then I would hang out at the High Schools with this guy

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
HR total update time
Power hitting corner outfielder Jose Guillen has 3 home runs
Slap hitting centerfielder Coco Crisp has 3 home runs
Leadoff man update
Slower than a snail Guillen close to 400
Speedy Coco slidin
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
