Around SBN: Lakers Should Trade Andrew Bynum So He Doesn't Go To Waste

Todd Wellemeyer Defeats the Royals Again

Remember that big comeback against Cleveland? Yea, the Royals are 0-3 since. Clearly, it was a very meaningful victory. Taught us a lot.

Back to .500!

An impossible goal.

- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes

Callaspo might not be batting 2nd tomorrow

Trey is going to do SOMETHING

which probably means putting one of our hot bats lower in the order around Olivo and Aviles

prob DDJ back up

he’s starting to hit better now that there’s not so many lefties

gotta be

I realize he’s been bad this year, but even in one of his worst slumps in years, he’s been the second beset (to Jacobs) hitter on the team against RHP by far, and Callaspo is (in an admittedly small sample for platoon splits over the last few seasons) better vs. LHP than RHP.

Again, this is why one has to be careful basing playing time/lineups on hot and cold streaks.

Trey’s handling of platoon splits strikes again.

I guess I didn’t miss much. Looks like Davies ended up having a good game after a rough patch — no homers, 7 Ks. HoRam is turning back into HoRam.

I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.

Thanks for putting that come-from-behind victory in proper context (yet again)

We really shouldn’t have enjoyed it so much. What were we thinking?
