In his first foray into Mixed Martial Arts, Jose Canseco was pummeled by a 7-2, 330-pound grand champion of sumo, Hong Man Choi of South Korea, during a MMA show earlier Tuesday at Yokohama Arena in Japan.
The admitted steroid user and whistle-blower entered the ring hauling a baseball bat over his right shoulder and was accompanied by his girlfriend and publicist, Heidi Northcott, who tossed baseballs into the crowd as they slowly descended a ramp toward the ring. Canseco, 44, would have been wise to use the club against his opponent.
I DVR'd the fight and it was funny.. Canseco actually started out not too bad with a punch landed.. then later kicked the giant and hurt his knee and eventually wound up on the ground where he quickly went into the fetal position

Johnnie Morton thinks Jose did a good job

At least Morton fought in a (semi) legitimate matchup
This was nothing but a freak show. Those things tend to happen in Japan, though.

Japan is an odd place.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

I heard on the radio it was a KO.
Looks more like Jose just cried uncle.

Choi is enormous
But he’s a terrible fighter. At least Jose accomplished what he set out to do: Get some more time in the limelight and get paid. Congrats, Jose. As if you weren’t quite a complete and utter joke before, you’ve firmly cemented that status now.

Choi isn't a terrible fighter..
When he fought Fedor he was on top of him on the ground pouding away before Fedor got his arm. Anyone who can take the top position against Fedor can’t be that bad.

He has about 150 pounds on Fedor
He SHOULD be able to take him down and get top position (and mount) with ease. In fact, the only reason that Choi did actually end up on top of Fedor was because Fedor tried to trip/throw him, and he just couldn’t get the leverage on the guy. And despite being enormous and having an advantageous position twice on Fedor, the Last Emperor was never in trouble. He almost got Choi in another arm bar the first time he was on the ground.
His overall record in MMA is 2-2, with his two victories coming against Bobby Ologun (?) and Jose Canseco. He has no agility and can only move in straight lines. He’s a giant, but he’s a terrible fighter.

Jose can you see
Do us all a favor and go away! You are and always have been an absolute tool.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.
