HoRam Sighting? I
Heard it’s Roamin’ Colon.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
Is anyone else listening on MLB At Bat (mobile phone Gameday/radio feed app)...
and hearing one half of a random business-related telephone conversation in the background? Or is that just me? It’s on both the KCSP and Detroit radio feed. This is REALLY weird.

the Royals defense is bad.
i know it’s obvious and was predictable, but it’s painful to watch. they have one decent arm in the outfield, but it’s attached to a set of legs cast in concrete. the two guys with range have terrible arms. the infield is a disaster.
DDJ and Crisp overall are find
but, yeah, when Billly Butler is your best infield defender, and I dont’ care how good he’s been, you’re in trouble

The Central isn’t THAT bad. The Twins will probably win 85-88 games and the Tigers are legitimately good. If Verlander, Jackson and Porcello are as good as they have shown, this team can win 95 games. Plus their offense will score 1000 runs.

How should Royals fans be feeling about their Minor League performances so far this year? Seems like some pretty uninspiring stuff so far. I know that Mous has been solid if not spectacular and Hosmer’s OBP is excellent, but are there any breakouts or consolidation seasons in progress on the farm?

Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
Callaspo might be my favorite everyday player...
I know exactly what we are going to get out of him, he is very consistent at what he is
Are you telling me Jesus Christ cant hit a curve ball?

would indeed love to see a rally here...
esp to get Davies off the hook for the loss.
he pitched really well, just didn’t get the run support he would have needed (i.e. 9 runs).
I love that!
(i.e. 9 runs).
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
lol @ letting luis hernandez bat here
not that it matters.. but really?
realistically speaking
This inning we start seeing more pitches
Even w/ the 2 strikeouts…
rest of the team take notice!
Andres Blanco with an RBI double for the Cubs
Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.
yayyyy
4 games back…below .500. we are Awesome.
what are we in our last 18 games
5-13?
realistically speaking
this game
just another exercise in futility
realistically speaking
Royals drop to 1-4 before an off-day...
There’s nothing to that other than it sucks as a fan when there’s an off-day following a loss.
Hey dammit look at it this way
we’re 2-2 in our last 4
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
that's awesome
avoid a sweep and take the second game of 3 in the following series.
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
and disregard the
2-4 in the last 6
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
preceded by dropping 2 of 3 to facking Cleveland
to make ya 3-7 in the last 10
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
and just splitting a 4 game set with the Oriolegasms
putting you at 5-9 over the last 14
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
but the doozey is going zero for a road trip
even if it was only 4 games, it makes ya 5-13 out of the last 18
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
and to top it all off the reality is that here we are still 23-24
pretty close to where we should be.
a .500 team.
that’s it. and I still like it!
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
but we've got to SWEEP
the Chisox to go .500 for the month.

And we're going to a 4-man rotation for the next 8
That’s gotta help
Because...
Banny = solid
Meche = he’ll find it soon, I’m sure of it
Zack = ownage
Kyle Davies has now had
close to 90 starts in the bigs….does anyone seriously think it’s going to get any better? He’s a 4.75/NL—5.00/AL pitcher….if you’re ok with that as your # 5, fine…..
But I tire of these “he’ll only get better with more experience” comments…
no…he….will….not……
Someone said last night that the Royals are a .500 team and we should get used to it.
Um, I actually think that they’re a sub-.500 team that had a hot run to start. It seems like every time out they’re more than likely going to lose and when they do win it’s because a lot of things had to go their way (in games no including Greinke). Right now they are a Greinke away from dead last place. Hard to have someone on your team mean THAT much because if something happens, you’re toast.
Oh yeah there's not a doubt about that.
23 wins as a team.
Greinke, 5 of those are complete game wins. 3 more on top of that he handed to the pen. 8 of 23 wins, clearly better than a third of your wins that were nothing but Greinke.
24 of your losses? only 1 Greinke loss. I think there was a no-decision in there where he gave them the lead and they blew it. (he does have ten starts doesn’t he?)
The Greinke losses will happen. Unless this team gets better (or Greinke gets better, which may happen) the averages will catch up and NYRoyal will be correct. Zack will finish at about 16-8 and in the running for the Cy Young still.
And the team will finish 81-81, or even 79-83. But if it were 84-78, there would still be comments saying that the season sucked. All those records are improvements, and I’d take any of them.
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
