AAA Papillion
It seems that the Omaha Royals are headed to Papillion, Nebraska.

How about the Papillion Monarchs?
“Papillion” is the French word for butterfly. The Monarch Butterfly is kind of the symbol of Papillion – it’s on logos, seals, and whatnot. I’m kind of hoping they can word something out to call them the Papillion Monarchs and transfer some of the KC Monarchs tradition to Papillion. But, Papillion-LaVista High School goes by the Monarchs, so I don’t know how practical that is.

maybe Papillion Tattoos?
or Papillion Steve McQueens?
This seems like a weird move — I can’t imagine Papillion would have a larger fanbase than Omaha.
It's a suburb of Omaha.
They may keep the Omaha name, but Sarpy County would love it if they changed it. They have sort of a jealous little brother attitude when it comes to Omaha. It would help them tie it into their whole “Sarpy County Tourism” campaign.
Plus, the ORoyals have been feuding with Omaha since this whole thing started, and I heard a rumor that Alan Stein (ORoyals president) wanted to ditch the “Royals” nickname anyway.
If Omaha really does end up getting an American Association team to play in the new Omaha park, it would be weird having two “Omaha” teams. Maybe the Papillion team will be the Omaha Royals of Papillion (as has been mentioned here many times),

it's less than 4 miles from Rosenblatt isn't it?
Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a f@#%ing boat.
more like 12-13 miles
Yahoo maps says the drive between Rosenblatt and the new site is about 17 minutes. Not a big deal either way.
The proposed Bellevue site would have been a little closer to 4 miles.

ah yeah that's the one
I forgot. My bad

right
Personally, I think this is the 3rd best of the three choices.

yeah, even though the Cabella's site is the farthest away from my home
it makes the most sense. It is already being developed, would be a great visual from the interstate, and would be easy to get to. I’m guessing it is mostly about the cost of the land.

Supposedly the La Vista site needed another $20 million in road renovations, and the Bellevue site needed $10 million. So it basically came down to the cheapest option.

the traffic is a nightmare I guess
so La Vista is a tough sell.
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
