Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

"The Royals announced on Tuesday that Pena cleared outright waivers and has been assigned to their Triple-A Omaha club.

Pena was designated for assignment on April 24 when Jose Guillen came off the disabled list. The Royals liked Pena and were apprehensive that, in a catcher-thin market, he might be claimed off waivers, but he was not. "

Good news

A little surprising that another team didn’t put in a claim. I guess squirreling him away on the 25-man paid off. And I wonder why he opted to take the Omaha assignment…seems like he’d have an easier road back to the majors in another organization.

Really surprised

Considering the Yankees injury to Posada. Maybe we can swap Brayan Pena for A-Rod.

Nah I don't want that clubhouse cancer

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
