Taking Sides

So guys, I've been noticing that certain people seem to argue a lot. No matter what the subject there seems to be, a line in the sand is drawn and people seem to agree with the same group. I don't think this is a bad thing, or there is really any hating going on, but I just thought of an idea. Royalsreview had in the past talked about buying tshirts to help support the site, well why not make 2 new shirts. Something like Royals Review's Posse, and NY Royals Gang (names subject to immediate change when a better one comes up). They are the two that always seem to be getting into it, and its become THE inside joke (IMHO) of the site. So why not embrace it and pledge blindly to your leader. This is prolly a stupid idea, but I've been thinking about it for awhile.

A couple things

First, I argue/deate with Will (royalsreview) less than I argue/debate with many others. Second, I think this would send t-shirt sales into a tailspin. But hey, if it would make Will some money, I’m all for it. But to borrow Will’s line (and Royals philosophy), I’m skeptical.

(In all seriousness)

I think y’all would be surprised at how often some of us get into arguments on purpose just to stir up a discussion. :) We don’t plot it beforehand or anything, but we do it, trust me.

I think shirts that said “I hate Trey Hillman” and “Trey Hillman is a fucking idiot” would sell much better.

Especially after we win the World Series.

I'm going to hate him even more if he wins the Manager of the Year award

And if the Royals manage 85 wins, he has that award sewn up. He might even get it with 83 wins, a’ la Tony Pena, Sr.

Well, I guess we know how this story will write itself

Hillman will resign in early 2010 after some embarrassing personal scandal (that was it, right?) after running the team back into the ground

and then in 2017, we will spot his MoY award on Ebay.

I was ten years old going to ballgames wearing a T-shirt that said

JOE BURKE SUCKS

Come on, Annie, think of something clever to say, huh? Something full of magic, religion, bullshit. Come on, dazzle me.

or Zack's

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.

I would immediately drop the cash on one that said...

“Royals Baseball…Force the Envelope”

Or maybe one that said “Royals” on the front, and then “I didn’t know you were going to make me wear a baseball t-shirt” on the back.

"Why does this T-Shirt Look Like Crap?"

“I’m not a silkscreen specialist.”
