BOD: Boyfriend of the day, April 22nd, 24th, 27th, 29th, 30th

Whoo doggy. WIth the help of some fellow RR readers, I have finally worked up the courage to play catch up. Just realize that some of these games will not get a SK, and that's fine. Too much love is a bad thing at times.

Now all I have left to do is update that damn list of points! I really need to learn how to use excel to make my life easier!

Star-divide

April 22nd

Boyfriend of the Day

Brian Bannister, who went 6 scoreless innings. Will we have a return of Greinke and the Brain this year???

April 24th

Boyfriend of the Day

Uhm, Greinke? Who else? If the Royals rotation were in the cast of Scrubs, they would be the brain trust and Greinke would be The Janitor. Just sayin'.

April 27th

Boyfriend of the Day

Guillen who went 3-4 with 2 home runs :)

Smitten Kitten

Brian Bannister for 7 innings and only one earned run.

April 29th

Boyfriend of the Day

As much as it hurts me to say this, Grienke is not the winner for the game. He's given me too much this season for this to be a BOD-worthy game. Tsk tsk, Mr. Greinke! It's instead going to Butler, who went 4-5 with 2 home runs!

Smitten Kitten

But I WILL give Greinke a little love. SK is good enough I believe.

April 30th

Naturally I can't get a win on my birthday (the 1st), naturally. But I'll take a win sandwhich I suppose.

Boyfriend of the Day

John Buck! 2 triples, kinda epic if you ask me!

Smitten Kitten

Erm, I was told to give this to the infield for the 6 turned double plays...so I'm gonna go with that. Teahen, Aviles, Butler, and Callaspo!

Keep an eye out for the May 6th edition of BOD, wherein I will be throwing up totals that you've been so anxiously awaiting!

If you do want to add some Smitten Kittens, I have some suggestions

4/22
Wright and Soria finished off the final three innings of the shutout.
The offense wasn’t great, but didn’t need to be. Crisp went 2-4 with a run and a double.

4/24
A few good scattered offensive performances, but I honestly don’t remember. It was all Greinke.

Anyway, I hope you keep having to play catch up: that means we’re winning a lot. Hopefully Callaspo’s steady good play doesn’t keep getting overshadowed by other players’ bursts of good play that look better when looking at a single day.

I don't like playing catch up!

Catch up means I haven’t been around the site!

Love is the most important thing in the world, but baseball is pretty good too. ~Greg, age 8
