I think his "intensity" needs another week or two in Omaha to get to the right levels

Are you people serious?
Two games and everybody’s jumping off the bandwagon? I’ll admit, I’m probably not one to talk, but to get so fired up after this? Yes, it sucks that we lost but is anybody surprised that our offense is faltering? We’re going to have stretches like this.
I hereby resign from this post.

There is a lot of exaggeration going on right now.
While tonight was a punch to the baby maker, it was hardly worse than getting no hit last year. Yes, our offense was very bad and very unlucky, but Greinke also benefited from some excellent defense behind him.
Very sad to see Greinke’s first loss, but come on guys.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
It's not just that they're faltering
it’s that they’re laying over. Swinging on pitches out of the zone early in the count, not doing the little things like bunting when they should or getting runners home when they should. It’s not just pathetic to watch this offense, it’s painful when they act like this.
i'm not jumping off the bandwagon
but seriously, if this game isn’t nausea inducing i don’t know what is
we have the story of baseball, pitch 8 1 run innings and we can’t score him one measly run. that is embarrassing, sad, and makes this extremely difficult to stomach.
realistically speaking
And honestly
We could’ve gotten pummeled 13-0 or something similar. Even without his best stuff, Greinke was able to go CG 1 ER. That is impressive as hell, and if we can take tomorrow’s game, a 1-2 record against the AL’s best team last year on the road is acceptable to me.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
but they ARENT the same team
this is the beat up version of the angels without 3-4 of their best starters and without Vlad.. we should of taken 2 of 3 now we’ll be lucky if we win 1
Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.
agreed, where are the 3-2 counts?
Greinke went 3-2 with a ton of the Angels hitters tonight…. It as though either Saunders was just inducing grounds outs similar to Banny, or our offense didn’t want to get any elevation on the ball.
But, tomorrow is a new day, what time is the game?
It's a shame Grienke ever had to lose a game
But if it had to happen, I’m glad it happened like that, and not with him totally losing it.
And while I hate that it happened to the Royals, the way the Angels got out of the 8th inning jam was textbook-perfect. Nice bit of baseball to watch.
