In the American League, Maddon selected Kansas City Royals manager Trey Hillman and Seattle Mariners skipper Don Wakamatsu to join him on the bench for the game.

Willie Randolph was invited by Hurdle, then fired like two weeks before the actual game.
What is even the point of naming managers to be coaches?
Joe Maddon’s coaching staff is ill-prepared to coach this exhibition game?
